Last summer the self-proclaimed disco bøljeband,
Sommerbad served us "Hovedøen" a cheerful, and warm club-track with the perfect amount of wah-guitars, 80s style synth, syncopating drum-machine rhythms, added cowbells and a raspy vocal, singing about the best things you could do on a island in Oslofjorden (yes, it's in Norwegian).

This year, while we wait for their upcoming single,
one of our definitive favourite producers and FM synthesis spokesman,
Center Of The Universe, updated the whole thing.

The result?
A smooth ambient version of hovedøen, stripped down while keeping the vocals in place with some robotics on top! Lush pads, sweeping strings and some small but firmly placed details give us a feeling of sun, sea, morgenbad and those long hot summer nights.

Extra enjoyable with a couple of cold ones, innabords!
